Article: The Modern Ninja

Great news - the original challenger, @wesayso, will illustrate the article. I now have in my mind's eye a tasteful pamphlet which I will mail to the contributors in printed form, and distribute to others as a PDF thereafter!

Great news - the initial flurry of contributions has made me see that I've been too greedy - I've lowered the target sum to $500! And if I get over $200, I'll still write the article! If I don't? I'll refund the money. Heck, I even want to write it now...

Oh, and I'll refund your money if the total doesn't get above $300!

I wrote a blog post about publishing, micropayments and so on - as a result, a reader challenged me (I am, among other things, a writer by profession, I should mention) to write an article on 'The Modern Ninja', and to crowdsource payment, eg 200 people paying £2.50/$3.75 each. So... if you, the world, raise $750, I, the me, will write 'The Modern Ninja', at least 2500 words of diverting, thoughtful and entertaining prose, within two weeks of the money being raised.
